There's nothing more valuable than the presence of God in our lives. And my goal for teaching about God's presence and anointing is to increase your desire to completely and promptly obey God. Because the more we love, trust and obey God, the stronger His anointing will be in our lives.
It's wonderful to know that, as believers in Christ, we can live in close fellowship with God. Jesus said in John 16:7 (AMP), "I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor — Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]."
Isaiah 54:17 gives us an amazing promise from God. It says, "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong.
I've discovered that nothing in life is right — nothing feels right, nothing works right — until you know you are right with God. When you really know God loves you and accepts you, then you can overcome sin, the rejection and judgment of others and any other opposition that comes against you in this life.

It's an honor for us to be chosen by God to be alive at this time on the earth. God has a great purpose for each of us, but if we're going to fulfill His plans and the "assignments" He's created us to accomplish, we have to make up our mind how we're going to live every day.
One of the greatest revelations of my life is: I can choose my thoughts and think things on purpose. In other words, I don't have to just think about whatever falls into my mind.
Have you ever put your trust in someone who ended up disappointing you or hurting you? Maybe you put your trust in your money and then something happened and suddenly you didn't have it any more. Have you ever wasted years of your life trusting yourself?
It seems that stress is the disease of the century. Products and programs to manage stress are a multi-billion-dollar business, whether the "cure" is medicine, counseling, books, seminars or classes. But I've discovered that God's way of managing stress is the most effective way to live.
