Randall Terry, the founder of the pro-life group Operation Rescue, is the Constitution Party’s presidential nominee. Stephen Broden, the founder and senior pastor of Fair Park Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, who also founded the National Black Pro-Life Coalition, is his running mate

The candidate’s campaign strategy involves running commercials showing graphic pictures of aborted babies in the 60 days running up to the 2024 presidential election.

The frequently-asked-questions section of the website notes that federal law states that TV stations shall “have no power of censorship over the material broadcast by any legally qualified candidate.” Terry also suggested that the purpose of his campaign was not to actually win the election.

“We do not even ask for your vote,” the website states. “In the last election 51% of Catholics, over 33% of Evangelicals, and nearly 90% of Blacks voted for Biden. Many of these three groups say they are ‘pro-life,’ yet they voted for a baby killer. They are our target audience; we are calling them to repent. If just 1% or 2% of these voters repent, and refuse to vote for Biden (or the Democrat Nominee), it will change the election’s outcome. BIDEN (or the Democrat Nominee) WILL LOSE.”

The Constitution Party captured just 0.15% of the vote in the 2016 presidential election while winning only 0.04% of the vote in 2020.

As of July 23, the Constitution Party has ballot access in 14 states that have a combined 130 electoral votes: Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
