'19 Kids And Counting' Revival Rumors: Will TLC Bring Back The Cancelled Show This Year?

Despite the severe backlash from the public, it would seem like the Duggars, who were made famous in the cancelled TLC reality family TV series, "19 Kids and Counting," are still coming back to take back its spot in the small screen.

A report from Star Pulse last week cited their sources saying that the network might still be interested in reviving the hit TV show. People who have knowledge of the issue claimed that TLC is now reconsidering their decision of shutting down the series and that they're thinking about reopening it.

This news comes in the midst of protests urging TLC never to make the Duggars return to TV. However, the site pointed out that if overlooking the damages the family had caused to the company means that the company could regain back "some of the millions" they've lost, then it shouldn't come as a shock if a "19 Kids" reboot would be released in 2016.

Daniels particularly addressed the questions regarding TLC's silence amidst the scandal.

"Every decision we've made has been done very thoughtfully and very carefully about what is in the best interests of the people involved and the network," Daniels said, as quoted over at Variety. "Our first priority is making sure that there's a health and well-being of our families first and foremost.

The Duggars were recently tied up to controversies surrounding Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's eldest son, Josh. It was reported that he had molested five girls in the past, even including his very own sisters, and had a paid membership to the infamous Ashley Madison website.
