2016 Presidential Race Update: Trump and Clinton in the Lead So Far
As the presidential primaries and caucuses continue to drop in states around the U.S., it seems Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be facing off during the 2016 elections' final straw.
In a recent update by The Telegraph, it is noted that the Republicans are being led by Trump, while Clinton is leading Bernie Sanders in the Democratic party.
Last week's Super Tuesday put the former Secretary of State and the business mogul in a position that could likely secure their spots in the final two before November's elections. While there are still a good number of states that will hold its primaries and caucuses, the accumulated figures are early signs of the upcoming clash between the two frontrunners.

Marco Rubio is out of the picture after Trump won the Florida senator's home state, leaving John Kasich and Ted Cruz in a fierce battle against the businessman. While Cruz has gained the trust of several states to secure his run in the presidential race, some experts believe that Kasich's run may be cut short if Trump continues his aggressive campaign.
As of Monday, March 21, Trump has secured 18 states, while Cruz has won eight, and Kasich follows farther behind with one. Out of 30 states that held primaries over the past weeks, Trump is obviously on the lead.
On the Democratic side, the former First Lady has won 18 out of 27 states that held its primaries and caucuses, while Sanders snatched nine. The Vermont senator has remained firm in his stand despite the numbers that put Clinton above him and though the latter may be winning in figures so far, Sanders continues to fight.
Meanwhile, both parties still have numbers to fill in as the number of delegates acquired will determine who will be in the nominations. According to ABC News, Clinton has 467 delegates so far while Trump has 680.
The United States will hold its presidential elections on November 8, 2016.
