Many conservatives and pro-lifers are hopeful that if more pro-lifers are nominated to the court, the Supreme Court's 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion nationwide could one day be overturned. Pro-life leaders believe Gorsuch is a great way for conservatives to start tipping the balance of the court.

"In nominating Neil Gorsuch, President Trump kept his promise to nominate only pro-life judges to the Supreme Court. Justice Gorsuch is a distinguished jurist with a strong record of protecting life and religious liberty," the SBA List explains. "The swift fulfillment of President Trump's commitment to appoint pro-life Supreme Court justices was a tremendous win for the pro-life movement."
