Jenkins said when he saw the trailer it brought tears to his eyes. “This special captures the joy and meaning of the Jesus story more than anything we’ve done,” said Jenkins in a statement shared with CP.

The first theater presentation of “The Chosen” trail blazed the way for the future of the TV series being displayed on the big screen. The first event broke records for Fathom Events and brought more than 1.1M+ fans out to theaters at the time.

“A young mother labeled impure. A shepherd boy considered unclean. Experience Jesus’ birth through their eyes as ‘Christmas With The Chosen: Holy Night’ blends ‘The Messengers’ and ‘The Shepherd’ into one special remastered and re-scored story. Plus, a never-before-seen performance from Andrea and Matteo Bocelli highlights seven music performances and two beautiful new monologues,” the synopsis reads.

Other performances included are Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude,” Matt Maher’s “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” Bonner Family’s “How Great Thou Art,” Zach Williams’ “Go Tell It,” One Voice Children’s Choir’s “What Child Is This,” and the “Joy to the World” finale featuring Phil Wickham and Maverick City Music.

Season four of “The Chosen” will premiere in theaters February 2024.
