Aaron Hernandez Faces Lawsuit as Homicide Investigation Continues Near House
Aaron Hernandez, whose house was recently searched by police during an ongoing homicide investigation, was named in a lawsuit after allegedly shooting a Florida man in February.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court on June 13 and accused Hernandez of shooting a Connecticut man during an argument at a Miami strip club.
The lawsuit was brought by Alexander Bradley, whose lawyer has done personal assistance work for Hernandez, acording to TMZ.

Bradley did not name Hernandez as the shooter when Florida police investigated the incident at the time, and the case was closed without filing charges, reported The Boston Globe.
Bradley's lawyer told ABC News that the lawsuit was voluntarily discontinued because the language describing the injuries was incorrect, but that it was being refiled Wednesday.
The lawsuit comes during the same time as police in Massachusetts searched Hernandez's home in connection with a homicide.
The body of a 27-year-old Boston man was discovered in a North Attleboro clearing on Monday less than a mile from Hernandez's home. A 2013 Chevrolet Suburban rental car registered to Enterprise car rental under the player's name has also been linked to the investigation. Hernandez, however, has not been named as a suspect.
At least 10 police cars surrounded the home during the search on Tuesday night, according to Sports Illustrated. Two men who were at Hernandez's home before the search began attempted to leave the premises but were escorted away individually by police instead. Hernandez remained in the home during the search. A spokeswoman for the Patriots declined comment.
"I am aware of the reports," Patriots spokesman Stacey James said in a statement issued by the team, "but I do not anticipate that we will be commenting publicly during an ongoing police investigation."
Police left Hernandez's home at around 10 p.m. according The Sun Chronicle, a local Attleboro paper. One cop was seen carrying a cardboard box out of the house. A second bulletin released by police has revealed the search for a second rental car. This one, a silver 2013 Chrysler 300 with Rhode Island plates 451-375 , is also believed to have some link to the homicide investigation.
