Adele 'Rolling in the Deep' Singer May Record James Bond Theme

British soul songstress Adele wowed the crowd at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28 with her performance of hit single “Someone Like You.”

Now many are abuzz as to what her upcoming projects will entail.

Adele was a guest on British talk show, The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday where she hinted that she might be recording the theme song for the newest James Bond movie, currently titled “Bond 23.”

When Ross asked her what her upcoming projects where, she responded that she would hopefully be back in the studio by November.

“Well, this is actually a theme. Wow, that’s really giving something away,” she said.

After which, Ross began to hum the James Bond theme and Adele laughed loudly.

“It’s a concept. One song,” she added.

Adele also spoke about her preference for singing at small venues as opposed to for large crowds. However, she explained to Ross that fans are often left upset when they are unable to get tickets to her shows because the small venues sell out so quickly.

Despite being wildly acclaimed at the recent Video Music Awards, Adele noted it as an example of an aspect of performing that she does not favor.

“I did the VMAs the other day and it was a good night out, but I felt pretty out of place and kind of wished I was at home with my girlfriends,” she told Ross.

“I’m quite oblivious to everything. I’m not very in touch with the fame side of it, I don’t chase any of that and to be honest it doesn’t interest me at all.”

In a recent interview and cover shoot with Vogue magazine, Adele noted that despite preferring to entertain smaller crowds, performing still makes her nervous, sometimes to the point of being sick.

"One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit," she told Vogue. "I've thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don't like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.

Never the less, her jitters may be nothing more than an unconventional pre-show routine.

“The bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show," she said.
