Adorable Teacup Poodle Brings Love and Smiles to People in Nursing Homes
Many aren't used to seeing a dog at a nursing home. But it has actually been putting smiles on the faces of these people each and every day.
Nala is a teacup dog that visits many different patients in the nursing home every day. Since 1976, dogs have been trained specifically for the purpose of acting as therapeutic companions in various institutions. It's puppies like this that have positive effects of interaction. It doesn't seem like Nala is trained, but she sure does warm the heart of those around her. She even takes the elevator to go see other patients!
