'Alaskan Bush People' News: Rain Brown Posts Words Of Encouragement As Ami Brown Continues To Battle Cancer

A few days ago, Ami Brown completed her chemotherapy and fans of "Alaskan Bush People" anxiously waiting for any news regarding her health. In light of her mother's worsening state, Ami's daughter Rain has posted words of encouragement for herself and for others on social media.

Rain's posts, which she referred to as "Rain-spiration," have been well-received by her more than 19,000 followers on social-media. Her messages were full of hope and while obviously inspired by her mother, still resonate with anyone who is undergoing trials in life.

The Browns have relocated to Los Angeles where Ami has undergone therapy for her lung cancer. After reportedly completing her chemotherapy, there is now an update on her condition and sadly, her future looks grim.

According to a report from Radar Online, the Brown matriarch is on herdeath bed at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. It was reported that those with her type of Stage 4 cancer are only given a three percent chance of survival.

This is a medical fact and has discussed with Ami and even her own family. Nevertheless, the Browns continue to hold on to the hope that she will survive no matter how low the chances are.

What this latest revelation means for fans of "Alaskan Bush People" however, is a different matter. Viewers of the Discovery Channel series has followed the lives of the Browns from their Alaskan homestead and witnessed their heartbreaking departure from the life they know in order get treatment for Ami.

"She's the strongest person I know, so if she's saying it hurts, it really hurts," said family patriarch Billy Brown to People Magazine. "She tries to hide it from everybody but four or five times a day she bends over like a baby and cries."

For now, fans can only send their thoughts and prayers to Ami and her family and hope beyond hope that she triumphs over her disease.

"Alaskan Bush People" season 7 episode 16, will air on Thursday, Sept. 21, on The Discovery Channel.
