Amanda Bynes Sour Patch Portrait a Sweet Look?

Amanda Bynes was the subject of a new portrait made entirely out of Sour Patch Kids candies.

The artwork, done by Jason Mecier, is made up of over "1,600 real red, orange, green and yellow" weighing in at 15 pounds and totaling 15,000 calories according to EOnline.

A video posted on the actresses' Twitter with the caption, "I'm Sucking On A Sour Patch Kid Listening To Music Getting Ready For Tonight," was the inspiration for the portrait.

"As soon as I saw the title of that video I knew I had to do it. It was too perfect," Mecier said according EOnline. "I actually had to buy 20 pounds of Sour Patch kids because I needed so many more yellow ones for her hair. I think Amanda Bynes is funny. She's doesn't act any weirder than Lady Gaga."

Recently, the actress took time to explain her rash of plastic surgeries on Twitter.

"I was born with a webbing in between my eyes. That was a birth defect that I had surgically removed! I've never been more excited! Now I need a few more surgeries to shave the bridge down to correct the rest of my nose so I can start the next chapter of my career! Music!" she said last night on Twitter.

The next series of tweets by Bynes painted her as heroic for getting the surgeries.

"I consider myself to be a hero to have suffered 27 years with a birth defect and to just now have it surgically removed!" she continued. "I had to share my story with you so the media would stop using old photos of me and stop writing lies about me having odd behavior when I was just embarrassed to share the fact that I had a birth defect. As soon as I had it removed I couldn't wait to talk about it!"

"My doctors are heroes who also correct kids who have cleft lip -- something as traumatic as webbing in between your eyes!" she tweeted. "I wanted to share my story with you to prove that I'm not crazy, I was just embarrassed. Surgery is a complete miracle for me -- nothing can hold you back from living out your dreams. There's a surgery for everything that's wrong with you!"
