'American Crime Story' Season 1 News, Spoilers: Marcia Clark Talks About Meeting with O.J. Simpson Trial Prosectuor Sarah Paulson

Marcia Clark, the head prosecutor in the infamous O.J. Simpson trial, and Sarah Paulson, the actress who plays her in FX's critically acclaimed "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," have finally met.

In an upcoming interview with veteran talk show host Larry King, Clark dishes on meeting Paulson for the first time and says that she and the "American Crime Story" actress spent their first encounter drinking tequila and chatting nonstop.

"It was the most fun," Clark tells King, as quoted by E! News. "We drank tequila all night. We shut the place down. We never stopped laughing."

In her "Larry King Now" guesting, which airs Friday, March 25, Clark heaps praises on Paulson, telling the host: "There's nothing she does that isn't brilliant, so of course I knew this would be too, and it is - nuanced and empathic. She's amazing. I don't have enough words."

In the FX anthology crime series, Paulson takes on the role of Clark, the much-maligned lead prosecutor in the 1995 Nicole Brown murder trial. "She was an incredibly dedicated public servant who was thrust on a national stage, completely ill-equipped for that kind of scrutiny," the actress told Parade.

According to Paulson, all she knew about Clark before working on "American Crime Story" was what the media had portrayed during the trial more than two decades ago. As the actress told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, it wasn't until she did her own research on Clark that she found out who the real person was behind the media's portrayal.

Speaking to E! News from the "American Crime Story" panel at the recently concluded PaleyFest in Los Angeles, Paulson said, "I can't tell you how much love I have for that woman and how much admiration and just true respect for her."

In next Tuesday's episode, titled "Manna From Heaven," Johnnie Cochran (Courtney B. Vance) and F. Lee Bailey (Nathan Lane) will travel across the country to obtain the Mark Fuhrman (Steven Pasquale) tapes.

Clark's "Larry King Now" interview premieres on Friday, March 25, at 2 p.m. ET on Ora TV.

"American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX
