'American Horror Story: Hotel' News, Spoilers: Series Star Matt Bomer Has Some Explaining To Do To His Kids
Matt Bomer, star of FX's hit horror anthology drama TV series "American Horror Story: Hotel," worries what his children might say about his works in the show. Meanwhile, details for the Season 5B premiere were revealed.
During a recent conversation with Men's Fitness, the actor, who plays the part of Donovan – a Hotel Cortez tenant, revealed that he was actually shocked when he found out what he would do in Season 5 of the series.
"I got the first script and thought to myself, 'Holy s--t, what the f--k is this? This is crazy!'" the "Magic Mike" star told the media outlet, according to E! Online. "I put it down a few times and took a deep breath and went, 'OK. We're just going to have to commit to this world.' "
The 38-year-old is rearing three small kids with his husband and publicist Simon Halls. Because of the explicit things in the show like blood orgies and gruesome murder sequences, just to name a few, the actor won't let his children see "Hotel" – at least for the time being.
"At a certain age, hopefully 18, they're going to dip into my work and go, 'What the [bleep]?' Bomer told the fitness magazine, according to Page Six. When that time comes, he knows he's got a lot of explaining to do.
It is yet to be confirmed if the "Freak Show" collaborator will be joining AHS on its sixth season run. However, a report from Enstarz.com said that taking into account his working history with the series co-creator, there's a great possibility for him to come back.
For the meantime, "American Horror Story: Hotel" will be back on the small screen this year with its brand new 11th episode titled "Battle Royale." The segment is slated to air this Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 10 p.m. on FX.
Stay tuned for more updates.
