The 27-year-old soul sensation was found dead in her London home earlier this year by a security guard who had assumed she was sleeping and went to check up on her. The troubled star, who burst onto the music scene in 2006 with her hit song, ironically entitled "Rehab," struggled with a drug and alcohol addiction throughout her career that often overshadowed her musical talent.

When reports of her sudden and unexpected death surfaced, the media were almost certain Winehouse died of a drug overdose, although her father was convinced the singer's death was caused by excessive detoxing, as he said she had been trying to get sober in the months leading up to the tragedy.

However, the autopsy report revealed that, at Winehouse' time of death, her blood-alcohol level showed 416 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood, more than five times the legal limit of 80 mg in Britain.

The latest news of the cause of Winehouse's death has reopened wounds from some of her biggest fans who have supported her throughout her career.

"Amy Winehouse had the most beautiful and soulful voice," tweeted moniczkaH. "Absolutely brilliant. She is very missed."

User CeliaIndhira said, "I wrote my song 'Missed but not forgotten' for Amy Winehouse. I love her, and I'm sure she's in a better place."
