Amy's Baking Company Under Fire for 'Kitchen Nightmares' Appearance (VIDEO)

Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona, was the focus of the most recent episode of "Kitchen Nightmares," featuring Gordon Ramsey. Owners Amy and Samy have since come under a multimedia attack for their actions on the show.

"Samy and I would just like to thank all of our loyal friends, family and customers who have supported us. We would also like to thank all of our NEW customers that have shown an OVERWHELMING amount of support for us!! You are all wonderful people and we commend you for being intelligent enough to realize that everything you see on TV or read is not necessarily true! Thank you for keeping it fair and balanced!" Amy and Samy posted on their Facebook page.

The couple's troubles began even before Ramsey showed up to help them with their business. Footage showed that Samy, upset with a customer who refused to pay for the food he didn't receive, nearly got into a physical altercation with the young man. He actually chased the man outside the restaurant, and Amy, fearful that Samy would fight the man, called 911. Thankfully the men finally walked away from one another, and police were not needed.

However, when Ramsey arrived the next day, he learned that Amy and Samy's situation was worse than they let on. The pair had hired and fired over 100 people in a short period and took their servers' tips, claiming that since the workers were paid by the hour, they didn't need the extra money.

"We do not feel the need to make any excuses for our behavior on tonight's show. However, we would like to make the following statement: We do not, nor have we ever stolen or taken any of our servers, waitresses or waiters tips at Amy's Baking Company. We pay our staff members anywhere between $8.00 to $14.00 per hour to ensure that at the end of the week, regardless of it being busy or not, that they go home with money and a well-paid paycheck. They are aware of this when they are hired," Amy and Samy posted.

Ramsey realized that Amy and Samy were unwilling to change any of their behaviors, or even admit their faults, and left the couple on the second day of filming. It's the first time in "Kitchen Nightmares" history that he has ever done so, which caused an immediate sensation.

Since the show aired, Amy's Baking Company has received a great deal of interest on Facebook, Yelp, and Twitter. However, the couple has allegedly stoked the flames of interest by posting responses to those who criticize them.

"You are all little punks. Nothing. You are all nothing. We are laughing at you. All of you, just fools. We have God on our side, you just have your sites," the couple allegedly posted. "You don't know us! We will thrive! We are starting our family and we will teach our child exactly what God wants in their path," read another post.

The couple has claimed that they did not post such comments, though.

"Obviously our Facebook, Yelp, and Twitter and website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank you, Amy & Samy."
