Android 4.2.3, JellyBean Update in the Works for Galaxy S4?
An Android 4.2.3, JellyBean update could be in the works for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The company has received a lot of criticism for the device's lack of built in internal memory. The reason for this is that Samsung's custom version of Android with its extra applications takes up nearly half the space on the 16GB of memory it comes with.
Samsung is now considering ways it could optimize the operating system on the Galaxy S4 in order to free up more space for users. This could entail some kind of a software update; however, nothing has been officially confirmed at this time. This would be one of the first software updates to be issued for the Samsung flagship.

The Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 NFC edition.
The regular version of the device started receiving JellyBean early last month, however, this is the first time that the software update will be available on the NFC Edition. The model number for this version is GT-I8160P and it can be bumped up to Android 4.1.2 OTA (over-the-air) or through Samsung KIES.
The first country to get the update was Germany. It should roll out to several more countries by the end of this week.
The Android 4.1.2, JellyBean update is also now available for Samsung Galaxy S3 users on T-Mobile.
The 187MB update brings multi-window support to the device. Customers began receiving notifications to upgrade their software at 3 a.m. Monday morning.
T-Mobile has not updated its support page for the Android 4.1.2, update thus far. One person who received it reported the addition of two new apps with it including Paper Artist and Group Play along with T-Mobile's new 4G logo.
