Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Wedding Photos Sold for $5 Million; Money Donated to Charity?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly scored $5 million for their wedding pictures and every single penny was donated to charity.
The Hollywood power couple, often hailed for their humanitarian work, exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony before 20 friends on August 23. Jolie, 39, married the "Fury" actor, 50, in a chapel at their wine-growing estate, Château Miraval in France and the newly released wedding pictures were sold to two outlets (HELLO! And People magazines) for $2.5 million each.
"Brad and Angelina knew there would be tremendous interest in their wedding pictures, and decided to donate the money to their charitable foundation. The couple has done this numerous times in the past," a source told RadarOnline.com.

In 2006 the "Maleficent" star and Pitt were reportedly paid at least $4.1 million by People magazine for photos of their first child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, and in 2007 they received $2 million for photos of their adopted son Pax Jolie-Pitt.
Photos of the couple's six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne were reportedly sold for $14 million in 2008, and in each case the proceeds were donated to charity.
Proceeds from the wedding pictures were reportedly donated to the family's The Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, founded in 2003. The charity, according to its mission statement, is committed to "eradicating extreme rural poverty, protecting natural resources and conserving wildlife" in Cambodia – where Jolie's eldest son Maddox is from.
Maddox, 13, along with his brother Pax, 11, reportedly walked their famous mother down the aisle and daughters Zahara, 9, and Vivienne were flower girls, while Shiloh, 8, and Knox served as ring bearers.
Jolie wore a stunning white Luigi Massi gown and her matching veil featured colorful drawings by her six children.
"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple told HELLO! magazine. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a happy time for our family."
