'Anti-Cheating Ring' Designed to Prevent Adultery

It's called the "anti-cheating ring." Made of titanium, the wedding band is designed to prevent adultery.

Featured on none other than thecheeky.com, which features inappropriate gifts, the ring was created for "people intent on cheating."

The website says it specifically had men like "Arnold, Tiger and two timing IMF guy" in mind when making the product.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, former governor of California, confessed last year that he committed adultery with a staff member who worked for the family for 20 years, which resulted in a son. The affair had taken place over a decade ago.

Two years ago, pro-golfer Tiger Woods confessed to multiple extramarital affairs. "I cheated," he admitted.

As for Dominique Strauss-Kahn, former International Monetary Fund chief, he was accused last year by a hotel maid of sexual assault. He admitted to "moral failing" but denied raping her.

The anti-cheating ring contains engraving on the inside that says "I'm Married." The engraving is meant to leave an imprint on the finger which "means that when you are in the 'Club' and an attractive woman…or man comes along to chat, slipping your wedding ring off is not an option. The mark left on your skin says…'I'm Married,'" the website says.

So far, the public isn't taking the ring too seriously. "This is a joke, right?" said one commenter on boingboing.net. "If you need a ring - or a brand - to tell that you're married, you're not," said another.

The ring comes with a lifetime guarantee – "'til death and all that."
