Apple iPhone 6S Plus vs Google Nexus 6P: Flagship Smartphone Head-to-Head Comparison

The Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Google Nexus 6P are among the top smartphones right now, but the two are being pitted against each other. To determine which one is the superior flagship smartphone, a head-to-head comparison between them should be done.

When it comes to physical build, the Huawei Nexus 6P sports a unique aluminum design with the camera slightly protruding from the black glass at the back and a comfortable grip with its soft edges. The iPhone 6s Plus, on the other hand, has a stronger aluminum build, improved grip, and a Rose Gold color variant, according to N4BB.

As for the display, Apple has the same crystal clear 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD screen with 401 ppi found in its predecessor, but this time with the 3D Touch feature and enough brightness to allow outdoor viewing of photos. The Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch WQHD 2560 x 1440 AMOLED display with 518 ppi, which has clearer black and colors than the one on its rival, the report details.

In terms of specs, the Google Nexus 6P trumps the Apple iPhone 6s Plus with its octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor v2.1 with Adreno 430 GPU for graphics, dual front facing speakers, 12.3-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording, and 8-megapixel front camera, Know Your Mobile reports.

The iPhone 6Plus runs the 64-bit A9 processor with M9 motion-coprocessor, bottom-faced speakers, and has a 12-megapixel rear shooter and 5-megapixel front camera.

While both devices perform extremely well, the Nexus 6P's 3450 mAh battery lasts longer than the iPhone 6s Plus' 2750 mAh, the report relays.

The Nexus 6P comes with a price range of $500 for the 32 GB version up to $650 for the 128 GB version, while the iPhone 6s Plus costs $750 for the 16 GB version and $950 for the 128 GB version, the report adds.

It is a close fight between the Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Google Nexus 6P, but the latter seems like the superior flagship smartphone based on its camera, price, photo and video quality, and battery life.
