iPad Mini 4 Release Date Expected April 2015?

Apple is reportedly preparing the iPad Mini 4 to be released in April.

The production for the iPad Mini 4 will reportedly start in December. The company is reportedly planning an upgrade for the iPad Mini 3 since the device did not sell well.

Consumers complained that the iPad Mini 3 is similar to iPad Mini 2 and Apple failed to upgrade the device. The only notable change is that the iPad Mini 2 comes in gold and has a fingerprint sensor while its successor does not.

The iPad Mini 4 reportedly has an A8X processor and has similar design with iPad Air 2. Rumors surfaced that the iPad Mini 4 will be more advanced than its predecessors. As of this time, no other news about its specifications has been reported.

There are also speculations that after the release of iPad Mini 4 that Apple will remove the iPad Mini and iPad Mini 3 from stores and will keep the iPad Mini 2 in the market. This is because the iPad Mini 2 has been selling well for the past years despite new versions.

Apple has consecutively release the iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 3 on the month of October for the past three years. However, reports say that the iPad Mini 4 will be released together with the iPad Pro to provide users options to fit their lifestyle.

The iPad Pro will reportedly be a 12-inch device with a stylus. The gadget is more suited for professionals who are into creative or digital design. The iPad 4 will reportedly be for people who are on the go and would prefer a handier device.

As for the price, there are no reports about the cost of iPad Mini 4 or iPad Pro but the former will surely be more affordable.

The iPad Air 3 is still available in Amazon for $346.
