Apple TVs Already in the Works
Apple TVs are already in the works, according to new reports.
The Wall Street Journal furthered Tim Cook's statements made on his "Rock Center" interview last week, confirming that a large-screen high resolution TV is currently being developed by Apple.
Officials at Apple suppliers told the publication that the company is currently testing a few different designs for a large-screen high-resolution TV.

Two other sources at Hon Hai Precision Industry, a company that assembles the iPhone and iPad, stated that they have been collaborating with Japan's Sharp Corp on the design of a new television with Apple.
"It isn't a formal project yet. It is still in the early stage of testing," said one of the sources.
Cook first hinted at Apple's putting out a TV in the near future during his interview on "Rock Center."
After being asked "what's next for Apple" by the show's host Brian Williams, Cook replied with an interesting answer.
"When I go into my living room and turn on the TV, I feel like I have gone backwards in time by 20 to 30 years," Cook told Williams. "It's an area of intense interest. I can't say more than that."
This is not a process Apple has just begun.
The company has reportedly been testing television set prototypes for years and many of them have never been brought into the market, according to the report. This indicates that the televisions being worked on by Apple at this time could end up being scrapped as well.
Apple's entry into the television market would be interesting, as that is a field largely dominated by Samsung and its Smart TV line.
Smart TV allows users to view and use applications on their televisions sets in the same way they would do so on their tablets and smartphones.
Apple's TV would function in the same way, except it would provide the users with access to Apple's ecosystem through their television set.
