'Arrow' Season 4 News: Will Oliver Revert To His Old Vigilante Ways? Roy Harper Returns?

The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "Arrow" Season 4 is finally back to the airwaves and this week, a brand new episode is slated to reveal the fate of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) who was shot in the mid-season finale. Meanwhile, details for an upcoming Season 4B episode teases the return of one fan favorite character.

According to the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Blood Debts," Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will try to cope with the devastating consequences of Darhk's (guest star Neal McDonough) latest hit. For those who missed it, Felicity got shot by Darhk's Ghosts moments after Ollie proposed to her. The wound was rather fatal and she was shown to be in a pretty bad shape. Obviously, this act of terror won't sit well with the Green Arrow.

The TFC summary clearly hinted that the bow and arrow-wielding hero will go on a "brutal manhunt" to look for the mastermind.

The teaser clip shared over at Melty.com revealed just how desperate Oliver is to exact his revenge that anyone who dares to cross his path could end up dead. The video did show the superhero throwing off one of Darhk's minions off a tall building when he refused to provide the needed information. The question now is will the Arrow's judgment be clouded with anger and frustration?  Will this push him to revert back to his old vigilante way of dealing with people who do wrong?

Meanwhile, the spoiler report from WeGotThisCovered.com said that Colton Haynes' Roy Harper will finally be returning in the 12th episode of the season called "Unchained."

The synopsis shared by the website reads:

"ROY HARPER RETURNS; NYSSA MAKES HER MOVE — The team faces off against a formidable villain nicknamed The Calculator (guest star Tom Amandes). Meanwhile, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) makes her move and Roy Harper returns to Star City."

"Arrow" Season 4 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
