'Assassin's Creed' Movie News: Fans Get Excited With First Banner and Campaign Photo
Fans of the widely acclaimed game "Assassin's Creed" will just have one year to wait for the movie adaptation that stars Michael Fassbender, and with the release of the movie's first banner, it only means a trailer will soon follow.
According to Coming Soon, 20th Century Fox has finally unveiled the first banner that fans have been waiting for. Once the banner was released, fans immediately made the movie a hot topic in forums and social media networks.
Also, an image of a business card for Alan Rikkin was posted on the movie's Twitter account on Monday. Titled "12.21.16," the photo has a number that probably has hints hidden in it. Rikkin is the CEO of Abstergo Industries, which is a fictional entity from the franchise.

The franchise's content director, Azaïzia Aymar, also tweeted the same day, hinting that fans should use their "eagle vision," meaning there are definitely some clues or even spoilers in the campaign material released.
When the number on the card is dialed, a voice prompt says, "Hello, you've reached the voicemail of Alan Rikkin. I'll be out of the office on business until March 25 with limited availability."
The experts suggest that the date mentioned may be when the franchise will release the first trailer or teaser for the movie. It should be worth noting that March 25 is the premiere date of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," wherein Jeremy Irons, who happens to be a part of the "Assassin's Creed" cast, is also starring in the DC movie.
While it is unclear at the moment if a trailer will be released on the day "Batman v Superman" hits theaters, fans can just look at the Rikkin's business card for now and search for any clues that production might have squeezed in.
"Assassin's Creed" stars Fassbender, Irons, Marion Cotillard, and many more, and is slated for release on Dec. 21, 2016.
