'Avengers 4' Cast List Revealed: Every Confirmed Marvel Superhero And Villain
With Marvel Cinematic Universe movie schedule virtually non-existent beyond summer of 2019, the biggest anticipation fans currently have is what Joe and Anthony Russo have in store for the yet to be titled "Avengers 4" movie.
As the follow-up to next year's "Avengers: Infinity War" that features a huge ensemble cast and a half a billion dollar budget, expectations are really high. So who will be featured as the heroes and villains in the sequel to the biggest sequel in film history?
While most of the details will likely be buried until after May 2018, there are tidbits of info available online. Thankfully, Cinemablend did all the digging and uncovered hints from quotes from stars and filmmakers, set photos and just about everything related to the MCU.
First off, there's the current "Avengers" line-up of Iron-Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, Vision, Hawkeye, Spiderman, War Machine, and of course, Nick Fury. Add a Bucky Barnes, Ant-Man, and Wasp into the mix and they're ready for another round.
That being said, Star-Lord, Rocket, Gamora, Drax, and Nebula are also expected to return to some unfinished business, and given that the film is expected to be titled "Infinity Wars Part 2," it's probably a given that Josh Brolin's Thanos will be returning as well.
One fascinating addition is Pepper Potts who recently reconciled her differences with her self-described genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist boyfriend in Spiderman: Homecoming. It would be curious to see what she brings to the table in the next film other than worrying that Tony will get himself killed.
A potential addition that fans seem to be on board with, at least for "Infinity War," could be Agent Carter. Hayley Atwell recently posted a photo of herself to Instagram with motion capture dots on her face, the kind she needs when portraying an older version of Peggy Carter. If she does indeed appear in Infinity War, there's certainly a possibility that she will also do in "Avengers 4." All these details have yet to be confirmed, however, so better take this information with a grain of salt.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
