'Banshee' Season 4 Premiere News, Update: New Teaser Dishes Out New Outing Date

Yet another teaser video for the fourth and the reported final season of Cinemax's hit action TV drama series, "Banshee," has surfaced online this past week and it revealed glimpses on the new season which will now be expected to be full of intense moments, gun fights, and houses being put on fire.

Debuting last Dec. 18, the highlight reel was released by the network in time to announce the new premiere date of the show's latest installment. While it was expected to return to the small screens in January, it was now pushed back to an April 1 outing event.

Echoing the announcement is the series co-creator, Jonathan Tropper, who went to his social media to say the following:

"Say Your Goodbyes. #Banshee final season premiere will now be April 1. Worth the wait."

As for the teaser clip itself, it opened up with Hood (Antony Starr) looking at a burning house in the middle of the woods. The lack of trust among the characters has also been pointed out with Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) coming to the conclusion that after all, they have "so much to lose."

Scenes erupted showing different kinds of weapons: knives, sticks, flame throwers, and guns. Also spotted in the brief video is an intimate scene.

In an earlier interview with the people from Comic Book Resources, Milicevic revealed just how excited she was to portray a character as complicated as Carrie.

"… I got to play a mother with all this depth and even like the sex scenes were kind of interesting because I'd never done that, and then the fight scenes and the things I had to fight for. It was - the whole thing!" she told the publication.

To reiterate, "Banshee" Season 4 will premiere April 1 on Cinemax.

Stay tuned for more updates.
