'Batman Vs. Two-Face' News: William Shatner Talks About Making The Film's Villain
Out this week, the "Batman Vs. Two-Face" animated film brings together the illustrious cast behind the hugely successful "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" for another take on the '60s TV series.
The film is the late Adam West's final take on his iconic character along with Burt Ward as the Boy Wonder himself. Together they will take on Harvey Two-Face played by none other than William Shatner.
In a recent interview with IGN, Shatner talked about the making of Two-Face. "I think of myself as a hero," the actor said when he was told he's considered strictly a hero to several generations of fans.

"You hear from actors all the time, bad guys are more fun and all," he added. "And it's true. In this particular case, playing two people, he's not named Two-Face for any reason, so there's a Jekyll and Hyde character. And that's always fun to try and differentiate the two people. And that's what I attempted to do."
Discussing his character with Comicbook Review, Shatner revealed that he delved into a dark place. According to him, in finding the voice for Two-Face can be likened to understanding the psyche of the shooter that perpetrated the recent massacre in Las Vegas.
Shatner described his character as "a mild-mannered guy who never got a parking ticket." He then asked himself what was going on in his head, what were these voices in his head. And if he were to take the question seriously, that's what's going on in this ill person, the struggle between good and evil.
Shatner's co-stars in "Batman Vs. Two-Face" also praised the veteran actor for his performance in the film. Rick Morales, who served as the film's director, even noted that Shatner's recording session packed the room full of crew members that were fans of his work.
"There were a ton of people there for that record," Morales said, "[Shatner] had some great moments in that record, it was fun to see. I wish you all could see it!"
