'Baywatch' Movie News: Dwayne Johnson Outs First Official Still

Fans are finally able to get a closer look at the cast of "Baywatch" the movie as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson himself unveiled the first official image for the upcoming film.

In his Facebook post, the pro wrestler said: "EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: Our entire Baywatch Movie squad. Are we bad ass? Yes. Do we save lives? All day. Are we a dysfunctional family? Epically. Do we have fun? F*CK YES. We work hard, we play hard. BAYWATCH Get ready world...MAY 19, 2017."

The lifesavers seem to be enjoying their strut through the beach as Johnson donned red shorts and a blue body-hugging attire and Zac Efron wore a black and blue zip-up jacket. Jon Bass seemed to be enjoying the moment the most as he laughed with Alexandra Daddario.

Kelly Rohrbach appeared to be dancing, while Ilfenesh Hadera seemed to hint that her character will be more laid back than the rest of the team.

Efron also took to his own account and posted another photo where the characters remained candidly having fun as they walked along the shore. Some fans didn't like the idea of his jacket on but many said they are expecting to see him shirtless once the movie releases.

According to E! News, filming has been doing great and the cast and crew have been busy sweeping the shores of Boca Raton, Florida. The outlet further notes that whenever a new photo gets out in public, more and more people are expressing their interest in the summer-packed movie.

While preparations are still going on, there is some division among critics and fans alike, especially since some moviegoers still know very little about "Baywatch" and why some make it such a big deal.

The Guardian notes that many commenters said they have no idea what the movie is all about or what the series it was derived from looked like. On the other hand, there's a lot of positivity as Johnson has said earlier that production will deliver a fun and hilarious experience for those who have followed the original version and also for those who still have doubts if the movie will pull-off the reboot successfully.
