Benedict Cumberbatch News: Actor Visits New York Comic Book Store in 'Doctor Strange' Outfit
The cast and crew of "Doctor Strange" dropped by New York for filming and fans unexpectedly were given some time to snap selfies with the amazing Benedict Cumberbatch who visited a local comic book store still in his Sorcerer Supreme costume.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Cumberbatch took some time off while shooting sequences so he can visit a comic book shop. As every fan already knows, the character he plays in the upcoming movie was first introduced through Marvel's line of comics.
The store's manager was able to take a photo with the "Sherlock" star and fans were able to talk to the amazing actor. According to The Telegraph, footage from the shop's CCTV show Cumberbatch talking to fans and giving them time to take photos with him.

Marvel's Twitter page also posted an image of Cumberbatch pointing at a "Doctor Strange" comic book. Director Scott Derrickson also announced that filming has wrapped up through a post on his own account. In the photo captioned "That's a wrap," the director is seen holding another "Doctor Strange" comic book with a smile on his face.
Filming in the city was an awesome experience for many fans who are waiting for the movie's release and aside from seeing Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor's Baron Mordo in action, fans were also given a closer look at Mads Mikkelsen's villain.
Coming Soon recently posted some photos of Mikkelsen's character. He is seen with dazzling eye makeup that sports purple, red, pink, and grey combinations. His hair is drawn back as he walks through the city in a dark brown suit and heavy brown boots.
Mikkelsen's role has been kept under wraps for the most part and the recent photos are the closest fans are to discovering which villain he is portraying in the movie.
Also starring Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Scott Adkins among others, "Doctor Strange" is set to hit the big screens on November 4, 2016.
