Bengals Cheerleader Sarah Jones Lands Reality Show Following Sex Scandal?
Sarah Jones, the former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader who pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct charges, has reportedly landed her very own reality TV show. The former teacher was embroiled in an infamous sex scandal involving one of her high school students.
Jones, 26, had for months vehemently denied any wrong doing in the case involving a 17-year-old student. In early October, she finally came clean about having a sexual relationship with the boy in a plea deal made with state prosecutors. She has allegedly since been approached by a production company to star in her very own reality TV show, according to RadarOnline.com.
"A lot of people are going to be outraged I imagine when they find out she's getting a show. She is basically being rewarded for breaking the law!" a source reportedly told Radar.

"She's totally cashing in on her crime, and I'm pretty sure that if it was a 27-year-old man that had pleaded guilty to having sex with his 17-year-old female student he wouldn't have been given a TV show!" the source went on.
As part of the terms of Jones' plea deal with Kentucky prosecutors, she agreed to plead guilty to lesser charges of sexual misconduct and custodial interference in order to avoid jail time. This proved true the allegations that she had sex with the teenage student while she was working as a freshman English teacher at Dixie Heights High School in Crestview Hills, Ky.
"I began a romantic relationship while he was a student and I was in a position of authority," Jones said. "Yeah, what I did was wrong … And I feel guilty as to what happened."
Jones was reportedly approached by 495 Productions, the same creators of MTV's hit reality show "Jersey Shore," and if the plans go ahead she could soon be the star of a lucrative show.
"This whole scandal has turned into one big payday for Sarah. She was boasting that she 'made bank' for her Dateline interview last week and now she is going to be paid for appearing in her own reality TV show. It's sick," the source explained.
Jones' victim was later identified as being 17-year-old Cody York, who she confirmed is now her boyfriend. She was eventually sentenced to five years of diversion, which is a form of probation.
"This sends a bad message to others," the source said about Jones' reality TV deal. "It says that you can do something illegal and get away with it."
