Best Buy Cyber Monday Smartphone Deals Will Last Throughout December

Cyber Monday is here and Best Buy is having huge sales on electronics, including the newest smartphones.

The retailer is offering the Droid Incredible 2, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Samsung Stratosphere for Verizon free. The LG Marquee for Sprint will also be free.

The Virgin Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8530 will be marked at $99.99; meanwhile the Cricket Score will be priced at $49.99.

Bluetooth headsets and cases will also be sold at a discount.

Best Buy has announced the smartphone deals will last throughout December. Some of the deals will be available everyday while others for a limited time.

Smartphones are not the only items being discounted at Best Buy.

The Gateway Intel Atom processor notebook with 10.1-inch display and 1 GB Ram will sell for $149.99 while the HP pavilion AMD laptop with 17.6-inch display and 4 GB Ram will go for $379.99.

For televisions, Best Buy is offering the Panasonic 50-inch 1080p Plasma HDTV for $599.99 and the Sony 46-inch 1080p LED Smart TV for $1398.99.

The company also announced it will offer free shipping on everything.

"From free smartphones and free shipping on everything, to unbeatable cyber deals on a wide range of products, we're committed to meeting our customers' needs with one of a kind convenience and unparalleled selection," said Best Buy President Mike Vitelli in announcement.

Cyber Monday shopping can be done right from the comfort of a home or office.

Some Black Friday events turned violent last week.

A woman in a California made headlines when she decided used pepper spray on her fellow shoppers to get the best deals. Twenty people were treated for minor injuries in the attack.

In the Bay Area of California, a man was shot when he refused to give up his newly bought Black Friday items. He was in critical but stable condition.

A Shop.org survey found that almost 76 million shoppers would shop from an office on Cyber Monday.
