Bethesda Announces Upcoming DLC for 'The Elder Scrolls Online'

Bethesda has announced it will be releasing a new expansion pack for "The Elder Scrolls Online" for PC and Mac.

Maryland-based video game developer ZeniMax Online Studios and its publisher, Bethesda Softworks, have confirmed it will soon be launching a new DLC for its fantasy RPG game, "The Elder Scrolls Online," for both PC and Mac, titled "Orsinium"

The upcoming DLC is the game's second major post-launch content after "The Imperial City," which was earlier released in August for PC and last month for consoles.

The new expansion features the Orcs' ancestral home, Orsinium, showing it being rebuilt from deep within the Wrothgar Mountains. King Kurog gro-Bagrakh, the Orsimer king, has called on for adventurers to help with the construction, with players tasked to unravel several plots and counter-plots that plague the rebuilding process, as well as meet new allies and deal with new enemies.

"Orsinium" will add a new zone and additional quests playable in a single-player arena, including public dungeons, and 20 more hours of gameplay added to the main installment.

There will also be a new solo Maelstrom Arena challenge which includes two difficulty levels played in nine combat rings. The public dungeons, Rkindaleft and Old Orsinium, will also add new challenges in both single player and multiplayer modes.

Players will get access to new gear, additional crafting styles, and Orsinium-exclusive reward items inspired by Wrothgar's history and its denizens.

A preview of the "Orsinium" expansion pack is currently viewable on "The Elder Scrolls Online" Public Test Server, together with the full details of the game.

The upcoming DLC is schedule for release on PC and Mac by November 2, with the Xbox One version expected to be available in November 17, followed by the PS4 edition on November 18.

Players with ESO Plus memberships can avail of the expansion pack for $15 per month, while a single one-time purchase of "Orsinium" is priced at $25. Players can also purchase it at the ESOTU Crown Store for 3,000 crowns.
