Bieber Cancels Show in Middle East

Justin Bieber has cancelled next month's show in the Middle East on Tuesday without providing a reason.

The pop star scheduled a stop in Muscat's capital of Oman during his "Believe" tour on May 6.

"Alive Entertainment regrets to announce that the Justin Bieber in Oman show will no longer take place- due to overwhelming regional demand, a second show in Dubai has today been announced for May 5," a statement from Alive Entertainment read, according to E! News.

The cancelation is not the only misfortune the "Boyfriend" singer has experienced along his recent tour.

While neither the 19-year-old nor Alive Entertainment gave a reason for his withdrawal from Oman, it is believed that Bieber's recent difficulties may be to blame.

During his stop in the U.K., Bieber faced bitter accusations and criticism over leaving fans waiting for over two hours. Furthermore, the London trip saw Bieber collapse backstage after a gig- all before encountering a heated spat with a photographer.

Fans with tickets to the canceled Oman show can either apply for a refund or swap it for a ticket to the additional Dubai show on May 5.

"Adding a second show to his first-ever Middle East visit gives Justin Bieber and our team another great opportunity to accommodate the huge demand from Middle East fans to see the show," COO of Done Events, Thomas Oversen, told The Times of Oman.

"We are very excited that Justin Bieber has agreed to extend his Dubai stay by another day to help fulfill the dreams of more regional fans," Oversen added.

Despite the scheduling issues, Bieber remains active on Twitter this week.

"Up watching funny YouTube vids," the pop star wrote on Tuesday. "What are some good ones?"

"Day 2 in Oslo," the singer later added.

The Canadian singer's "Believe" tour will see over 100 stops in North America, Europe, African, Oceania, and Asia before finally wrapping up in Shanghai, China on Oct. 5.
