'Big Brother' 16 Spoilers: Was Plan to Get Devin Out Successful?

The contestants on "Big Brother" rejoiced last night when their plan to get out a key player in the house was successful. How did things go down? Read on for more information.

With Caleb and Devin on the block, the houseguests had a hard decision to make. The plan the entire week had been to backdoor Devin in order to get him and his attitude out of the house. However, in recent days, it seemed that the plan had changed. Caleb became the target, especially with his fawning over Amber, who did not return his affection.

Caleb purposefully threw a competition and put himself on the block in order to spare Amber. That had houseguests worried about what else he may be willing to do in order to protect Amber … and that they would have to contend with two votes instead of one. Cody was the main force behind the decision to oust Caleb.

When time came to vote, the house unanimously voted to get Devin out of the house. Suddenly the plan to evict Caleb went down the tubes and Devin was forced to leave. He did not seem surprised by the results and walked out of the house with his head held high, eager to see his baby girl. The guests immediately rejoiced and cheered as Devin walked out and his picture faded to black and white.

After Devin left, Team America's next mission was revealed. American viewers voted to have the three team members work to get out someone who they viewed as a physical threat instead of a mere floater. Will they succeed at this mission? They managed to accomplish the first mission and net $5,000 per team member; this mission could bring that total to $10,000.

The Head of Household competition began as the houseguests were paired off for the challenge. The winning team will become the new Heads of Household, though anything can happen. And host Julie Chen surprised the houseguests by telling them that there would be no "have nots" for the week but to expect the unexpected. The Heads of Household will be revealed during Sunday's episode.

"Big Brother" airs Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights on CBS.
