Bigfoot Video Sighting Ohio 2012: Creature Carrying Weapon? (VIDEO)

A YouTube video alleging that Big Foot was spotted in the woods earlier this year has drawn mass attention on the internet.

The video, which was captured and uploaded in April of this year, is not new, but for some reason, it is only just now getting widespread attention. Taken in the woods of Northeast Ohio, the video depicts what appears to be a large, hairy creature scuffling through some trees.

An unknown person that appears to be riding something like a bike or scooter appears to have been recording the road ahead when the mysterious creature jumps out from the foliage and crosses riding the path. The creature then quickly jumps back into the foliage on the other side.

The video is suspicious because little is known about the person who uploaded it. It was allegedly taken near the Grand River area.

Some, however, argued that the video appeared to be quite authentic. Everything from the body movement of the creature to the reaction of the rider and the fact that the creature is holding a stick seems to add to the video's validity.

"It is quite awesome that he is carrying_ a stick. Gives credibility to it being real, also makes me think how smart they are. Proof enough they avoid humans," Paula Peluyera said in comment on the YouTube video. "Awesome catch there."

"What I find amazing is the reaction of the person riding the bike. Its a clear indication he/she was really_ startled because they basically crashed into the bushes. Why would you react like that if its a fake ?" DixieTimmy," added.

So far the video has generated over half a million hits. Although ratings for the video were disabled, most users who commented seemed to agree that the footage was authentic.
