Bill O'Reilly and Deepak Chopra Lambast Atheist Richard Dawkins (VIDEO)

Bill O’Reilly is not afraid to challenge atheism on his Fox News show, and on Wednesday night, he had a spiritual author discuss rebuttals to arguments made by famous atheist Richard Dawkins.

Author Deepak Chopra used his guest appearance on the “O’Reilly Factor” to talk about his new book, “War of the Worldviews: Science vs. Spirituality,” and accused Dawkins of “camouflaging his bigotry” by using his accomplishments in the scientific field to make himself seem more credible.

Dawkins new book, “The Magic of Reality: How We Know What’s Really True,” is aimed at children and focuses on exposing myths from around the world that people have used to explain now-known scientific facts and theories, such as evolution.

Chopra, who is also a self-help guru, compared his book to Dawkins’, and challenged many of the atheist’s positions. He also said that he met Dawkins once before, in an interview for Channel 4 in Oxford; although, Chopra did not know beforehand that he would be interviewed by the atheist author himself.

Both O’Reilly and Chopra agreed on a number of points concerning Dawkins, and accused the author of being hypocritical in his insistence of only using “facts and logic,” considering his own emotional responses and unscientific arguments.

O’Reilly accused Dawkins claiming the United States was not founded on Judeo-Christian principles. The Fox News host argued that the Ten Commandments were the basis of the U.S. justice system.

Chopra revealed that he is a friend with world-famous physicist Steven Hawking, and that the professor shared with him that he does not believe it is possible to conclude that God is a delusion, which is the title of one of Dawkins’ most controversial books.
