Black Friday 2011 Ads: Target, Walmart and OfficeMax Go Head-to-Head to Offer the Best Deals

As the annual Black Friday sales event gets closer, businesses such as OfficeMax, Walmart and Target are beginning to announce their promotions to eager shoppers.

OfficeMax has posted a 157-item list for its Black Friday sales (http://bfads.net/Office-Max).

According to the Black Friday Ads (http://bfads.net) Office Max is foregoing doorbusters this year and is having a general two days sale that starts at 5 a.m. on Black Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Target is boasting that it has the best Black Friday ad this year. Some items from the 12-item Target Black Friday Doorbusters preview (http://bfads.net/Target) include:

Walmart has also released its Black Friday ad Thursday (http://bfads.net/Walmart) and deals for families with young children will not disappoint. Some of the best prices will be for video games:

Wii Limited Edition Blue Console - $99.96

The retailer also promised “incredible specials throughout the weekend” starting at 8 a.m. Friday.

Other companies going all out to lure shoppers into its stores include Macy’s, Best Buy, Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Kohl’s.
