Blackberry Curve 9360 Release Date: T-Mobile Announces Launch for September 28
T-Mobile will begin selling RIM’s new Blackberry Curve 9360 on September 28, according to the company.
Pre-orders for the new Blackberry will be offered to T-Mobile's business customers starting today, Sept. 21.
The new Curve will be in retail stores and select dealers on September 28.

T-Mobile will offer the Blackberry Curve 9360 for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement.
The new Curve 9360 is part of a trio of new Curves RIM announced and demonstrated recently, and includes a number of new features even though it will be the new entry level Blackberry.
The device will run on RIM’s new OS 7 which means the smartphone should be faster than previous Blackberrys and have higher graphic capabilities.
OS 7 will sport the new WebKit browser that supports HTML 5 video.
The Blackberry Curve 9360 holds the traditional look for the smartphone with the signature keyboard, but the new Curve differs since it also has an optical touch pad for navigation.
Other features include a 5-megapixel camera with flash.
It is Wi-Fi ready and also comes with a number of preloaded apps such as Documents To Go and the latest version of Blackberry messenger.
RIM has suffered significant loss in market share since Android and iPhone began to dominate the smartphone arena.
The company hopes to recoup some profit by releasing its new device which includes a keyboard along with a touch screen.
Smartphone users frequently complain about the touch screen keyboards included on Android's and iPhone’s.
For texting and typing, the Blackberry still remains one of the most desired phones especially since it includes BBM which is a social network within itself.
The only problem with RIM’s devices is that they lack the power and capabilities which the competition has possessed for some time now.
