Blake Shelton Officiates Wedding of Pistol Annies' Ashley Monroe
Blake Shelton exchanged his country music career for those of a civil officer at a high-profile wedding this week.
"The Voice" mentor not only attended the wedding of Pistol Annies' Ashley Monroe on Thursday, but officiated the ceremony between the bride and her groom, John Danks.
Monroe and Danks said "I do" during a sunset ceremony at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee after dating since 2011.

Moreover, Shelton's wife, a fellow member of Pistol Annies, served as the wedding planner as well as the maid of honor during Monroe's special day.
"They're my dearest friends," Monroe said of Shelton and Lambert, according to People.com. "And we wanted someone with personality to marry us!"
The bride arrived to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage wearing a custom-made Haute Hippie gown, and the reception saw hand-made décor by Lambert.
"Miranda was the one who cared about all of the details," Monroe explained. "It was magical."
As for the newlyweds, Monroe described her baseball husband Danks, who is the pitcher for the Chicago White Sox.
"I married my best friend," the bride told People. "He has such a good heart."
Following her Thursday wedding, Monroe posted to Twitter: "I'm MARRIED!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo," along with a photo of her wedding ring.
Meanwhile, Shelton was previously going to officiate the wedding between Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock, who had just tied the knot at the same farm just four days before Monroe on Sunday, Oct. 21.
However, Clarkson and her now-husband scrapped their original plans for a big wedding, opting instead to marry with just three guests- Blackstock's two children from a previous marriage and the official.
"I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock," Clarkson posted to Twitter one day after her wedding. "We got married at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
The "American Idol" alum went on to share pictures from her wedding day, revealing the newlyweds standing before beautiful fall leaves and the Smokey Mountains.
"Thx Temperley London 4 my beautiful dress," the bride added of her stunning long-sleeved lave gown. "And thank you to my friend @jimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!
