'Blindspot' Season 1B Episode 11 Spoilers: Jane, FBI Team Examine A Global Case

NBC's hit crime drama TV series "Blindspot" Season 1 is currently in hiatus. However, a current scoop emerged this week pointing into the show's expansion in terms of plot settings. Meanwhile, the series executive producer dished out details on what to expect with the other characters when the police-procedural resumes on air.

In a latest spoiler report from Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Martin Gero said that fans will get to see their favorite characters Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander), Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the rest of the FBI team handling a global case.

The EP points out that the huge case will particularly happen in "Episode 11." As for what kind of problem Jane and the squad will get themselves into, it remains to be seen.

Furthermore, EW said that the second half of the show will also unravel more details regarding the "enlightening video" that past-Jane made for present-Jane. For those who missed it, the amnesiac Jane got to learn why her past-self came up with a plan to erase her memories.

Gero meanwhile added, this time in an interview with Variety.com, that things might not turn out well for Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) in the coming episodes.

The character's issue lies with Thomas Carter (Michael Gaston) who gave her a lot of money in exchange for some information about Jane.

Having gotten close to Jane, Zapata realized she couldn't do what she's been paid to do. Before her secrets can be revealed against her, she decided to resign from her post.

Unbeknownst to her, the CIA officer is already out of the picture. Gero said that he hopes Zapata gets wind of the news before she submits her resignation letter.

With regards to Patterson, the series creator hinted that she'd still be reeling over the death of David (Joe Dinicol) who got killed in "Authentic Flirt/Lift the Curtain."

The tragedy, as it turns out, will bring out a different side of the tech analyst.

"Blindspot" Season 1 is slated to return Feb. 2016 on NBC.
