'Bloodline' Season 3 Spoilers, Air Date and Cast Updates: Could Nolan Rayburn Avenge His Father's Death?
Netflix original thriller-drama "Bloodline" will soon wrap up for its final curtain call in Season 3, but the show still has a lot of tricks under its sleeves. It's only a matter of time before the Rayburns turned on each other, and now it looks like Nolan Rayburn (played by Owen Teague) could seek revenge against his unde John Rayburn (Kyle Chandler) for killing his father Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) last season!

In case you need a refresher on "Bloodline" Season 2: John killed Danny after the latter's episodes of erratic behavior. Danny killed a hitman sent by Wayne Lowry (Glenn Morshower) after he was mistakenly accused of stealing drugs from him. After Danny gave John's daughter Janie a seahorse necklace, one that looked like the deceased Sarah's necklace, John took it as an ominous sign against his family. He took Danny out in the ocean and drowned him, and covered up his tracks with the help of Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) and Meg (Linda Cardellini) Rayburn.

During the "Bloodline" Season 2 finale, Kevin decided to reveal the sibling's secret to Marco Diaz (Enrique Murciano), John's partner in Monroe County Sheriff, in an attempt to shift the blame to John and not on the couple. But things took a turn for the worse when Marco decided he's had enough of the Rayburns' constant lying and criminal behavior and threatened that they'd all go to jail.
Backed into a corner, Kevin dealt several fatal blows on Marco's head as the latter was taking a phone call (involving John threatening someone else's life, no less). His alleged death marks a cliffhanger season finale for "Bloodline." If Marco turns out to be alive, then he is the only one capable of pointing out that the Rayburns have committed and/or attempted murder.

What does this have to do with Nolan Rayburn? In the "Bloodline" Season 2 finale, Nolan was seen well-adjusted to the family, much more than his father ever was. But as he works to develop a deeper relationship with his estranged family, his old habits and his old anger has yet to be completely erased from his personality.
According to Owen Teague, Nolan doesn't really get much of a chance to be his own person, having inherited much of his father's mannerisms and temperament. Has he finally crossed over to the good side, or is he going to fall into the same murderous pattern in "Bloodline," like his father and uncle? We'll find out soon as "Bloodline" returns for its third and final season in 2017!
