Beyonce wowed the crowd during her stunning performance at the MTV Video Music Awards yesterday, but it was her 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy who stole the show.

The "Partition" singer took to the stage before the star-studded crowd in Los Angeles on Sunday and put on a spectacular 15-minute show. Her rigorous dance moves and various hits, including "Drunk In Love," had the crowd singing and dancing along during the performance.

A suave looking Jay Z, 44, was spotted sitting front row and clutching baby Blue during what felt like the "Beyonce show."

The daddy-daughter duo watched in awe and sang along as the iconic singer, 32, lit the stage while closing out the VMAs.

After a well deserved standing ovation, Beyonce was presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award – otherwise known as the Lifetime Achievement Award. It recognizes artists who have had a profound impact on MTV and pop culture.

Jay Z and Blue proudly presented the pop icon with the award, which understandably left her teary-eyed.

"Good job Mommy," a clapping Blue said into the microphone.

"The recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard award and the greatest living entertainer Beyonce," Jay Z declared.

Beyonce, dressed in a sparkling leotard costume, wiped away tears before addressing the crowd.

"I'm so full. Thank you. I have nothing to say but I'm filled with so much gratitude. I thank God for this moment. I love you so much. Baby Blue, my beloved I love you," she said referring to Jay.

The trio embraced as a family and Jay Z and Beyonce kissed before exiting the stage. The show of unity was a classy response to the ongoing divorce rumors surrounding their marriage.

Since May, the hip hop power couple has been subject to questions and doubts about their marriage, stemming from an elevator incident involving Beyonce's sister Solange. Last week, the singer's mother Tina Knowles publicly denied the rumors and on Sunday the couple showed affection in a bid to put the rumors to rest once and for all.

Beyonce, who is open about her Christian faith, shared a prayer on Instagram entitled: "My Prayer to God" two days after the incident involving Jay Z and Solange. They have all since moved on from the fight.

"Lord, I lift up everyone of my relationships to You and ask You to bless them. I pray that each one would be glorifying to you," Beyonce wrote to her 12 million followers on May 7.

"Help me to choose my friends wisely so I won't be led astray. Give me discernment and strength to separate myself from anyone who is not a good influence. I release all my relationships to You and pray that Your will be done in each of them," she added.
