'Bones' Season 11 Spoilers: Fans Waiting To Find Out When Show Will Return For Its Mid-Season

Fox's hit police procedural drama TV series "Bones" is currently on hiatus and fans are eagerly waiting for the network's announcement on the show's mid-season premiere. However, there are reports indicating that the second-half of Season 11 might resume "sometime in the spring."

According to Michael Ausiello, in his segment for TVLine, "Ask Ausiello," Season 11B might return to the small screens either in the months of March, April and May.

The media outlet's correspondent went on to reveal some details about the new episodes particularly on the current struggles of Angela and Hodgins. As revealed by Michaela Conlin, who plays the part of the former, there will be a "lot of angst" for the couple following Hodgins' paralysis.

"There are different stages of adapting to a tragedy like this, and right now we're in the stage of Hodgins giving up a little bit," the series star was quoted as saying by the website. "[The writers] are really honoring those depths, which we're really grateful for."

The current situation might even usher in the possibility for Angela and Hodgins to get even closer together.

Conlin is personally pleased with the developments, relationship-wise, of the characters because she can now see "Angela fighting for" her man.

"[Prior to the incident] she always sort of has one foot out the door. But now she's like, 'I'm all in with you, I want this to work,'" Conlin went on to say, according to the TVLine report.

Meanwhile, news of the show's renewal is also hanging up in the air.

During the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena earlier this month, the network's co-chairman and CEO Dana Walden revealed, in a separate report from TVLine that like everyone else, she's "really not sure" if the pickup will happen.

She did reveal to the press that it is Fox's utmost priority to talk with the producers "about whether this will be the end of its run or if it will go another season."
