Pitt and Jolie bought the 35-bedroom Chateau Miraval several years ago for $60 million. The property is complete with a vineyard in Provence where the couple grew their grapes for their rose, which is produced in partnership with the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel.

"We became impassioned with this place which could produce its own wine, its own food, and become a place where artists could congregate and share ideas," Pitt added of the estate before noting its contrast to Hollywood.

"It's very peaceful and the antithesis of the drive, the want, the need to get ahead indicative in life in Hollywood," he said. "I'm instantly reminded what quiet sounds like."

Pitt and Jolie, who are engaged, have been rumored to plan on exchanging their vows at their French estate. However, the couple and their six children also have homes in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and London, and Pitt nor Jolie have revealed any specific wedding plans aside from it being "paintball or Disney."

"We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be," Jolie told People magazine of her wedding day. "Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding. They will, in a way, be the wedding planners. It's going to be Disney or paintball, one or the other!"
