'Breaking Dawn Part 1' Wedding Felt 'Real' for Kristen Stewart
“Twilight” superstar Kristen Stewart has spilled more details, saying the pivotal wedding scene in the upcoming film “Breaking Dawn Part 1” felt “real.”
Portraying Bella Swan, Stewart costars in the film series alongside her real life boyfriend, Rob Pattinson. The wedding scene is the most anticipated event in the film and details about the footage have created a media firestorm this week.
Filming the nuptials, the actress said, “I really wanted to remember an experience that felt right for the moment. I don’t know, it felt very natural. It felt like, kind of a real ceremony to me.”

In the scene Bella will marry the vampire Edward Cullen portrayed by Pattinson. In a past interview with the U.K. edition of Glamour magazine, Stewart said she was unable to share details about the special scene.
“I had to be shrouded in secrecy the entire two days of filming,” said the 21-year-old actress. “It was crazy. I was on full lockdown, as if I was wearing millions of dollars worth of diamonds.”
Also speaking about the wedding scene, Pattinson described Stewart as she walked down the aisle for their on-screen wedding.
“I’d seen her in the wedding dress, but pretty much everyone in the cast hadn’t seen her,” said the 25-year-old actor while appearing on the “Today” show. “So when she’s walking down the aisle and everyone turns around to her, it’s genuine curiosity because there was so much secrecy about it.”
Pattinson admitted confusion over the secrecy surrounding the wedding details.
“It’s a white dress,” he joked. “But it’s beautiful, it’s an incredible dress.”
“She looks amazing,” Pattinson added of Stewart.
Returning to the big screen to reprise his role in “The Twilight Saga,” Taylor Lautner will play Jacob Black.
“Breaking Dawn Part 1” is in theaters everywhere Friday, Nov. 18.
