'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' Launches Multiplayer Starter Kit, Costs $14.99 For A Limited Time

"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" gamers can now easily grab and try the online shooter game as publisher Activision launched a starter pack at an affordable price. According to The Verge, a new version of the game is now available and it's called the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" multiplayer starter kit, which will bring players limited access to the multiplayer portion of the game for only $14.99.

As detailed in Activision's official web page, the kit includes access to the public ranked multiplayer matches which will let gamers upto a level cap of 55 compete against other players of the full version of the game. Gamers will also have access to the Gunsmith customization system, Weapon Paint Shop and Black Market trading post. Moreover, it comes with the Arena, Free Run and Theater modes.

Since the kit is limited only, there are also content which will not be available, such as the Zombies game mode, the Campaign game mode, Dead Ops Arcade II, and Nightmares mode. It will also not include the ability to play in custom games, the ability to Prestige and the ability to restart the gamer's profile. Aside from that, it will not give access to Mod Tools, modded content and unranked server browser which are all still to be released.

To get the whole content of the game, gamers will have upgrade to the full game which will cost $60. Those who are interested with the start pack will have to be quick in purchasing though as the current sale price is only up to Feb. 29. It is now available on Steam and once purchased, players can still continue to play even after the sale period is over.

Fans can also opt to purchase the "Black Ops III" Season Pass, although, it will only give access to the Multiplayer content of the DLC pack. As for the accessible Playlists, the only ones that are available are the Multiplayer ranked Core, Hardcore and Bonus Playlists.
