'Captain America: Civil War' News, Spoilers: Directors Tease Mysterious Kiss, 'Complicated' Ending
Though directors Joe and Anthony Russo have so far kept from revealing any telling details about the forthcoming "Captain America: Civil War," which hits theaters in less than a month, they recently teased that the much-anticipated superhero film could feature a mystery kiss that may take "Avengers" fans by surprise.
On Wednesday, April 6, the Russo brothers held a question-and-answer session about "Civil War," in which they hinted at a kiss between two unspecified characters, what Bucky Barnes/Winter Solider (Sebastian Stan) is like in the film, and how the Marvel spectacle concludes.
When asked if fans can expect any public displays of affection in "Civil War," Joe tried to stay mum while Anthony was a bit more transparent.

"I say we plead the fifth," Joe said (via ComicBook.com). Nevertheless, Anthony answered, "There may be a kiss in 'Civil War.'"
"But I bet you can't guess which characters it's between," the director teased.
As fans know, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) shared a kiss in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014), though they only did it to hide their faces from those pursuing them. Nevertheless, could the two Avengers lock lips once again in the third stand-alone Cap film? Or will it be Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the Vision (Paul Bettany) who ends up kissing in "Civil War"? Recently, Olsen said that fans will see some "really sweet moments" between Scarlet Witch and the Vision in the film.
The Russos also spoke about how fans will find Bucky Barnes in "Civil War," saying, "He isn't Bucky Barnes from the first movie."
"He isn't the Winter Soldier from the second movie," Anthony said. "He's a completely different version of that character. Maybe, perhaps, it's a hybrid of the two, in some way, because how do you go from being a normal person to being a mind controlled assassin, to sort of some life beyond that?"
During the Q&A, the directors were asked to describe the ending of "Civil War" in one word. According to Joe, it is "complicated."
