Carrie Underwood hinted at a music video for her latest hit single, "Something in the Water," via Twitter this week.

The country music superstar released the faith-filled single last month and it has been climbing song charts since. In response to the success, Underwood informed her fans that a music video for "Something in the Water" is on the way.

"Coming soon! #SomethingintheWater," the singer wrote on Twitter on Nov. 3.

Along with the post, Underwood included a photo featuring her silhouette illuminated by streaming light. The photo resonated with the theme of "Something in the Water," which includes references to conversion, baptism and keeping the faith and has lyrics that include, "I followed that preacher down to the river and now I am changed, and now I'm stronger, there must have been something in the water."

Furthermore, the powerful song ends with an interpolation of "Amazing Grace" before Underwood belts out a portion of the hymn. "Something in the Water" is Underwood's first release since 2012's album "Blown Away," and the song is part of her forthcoming greatest hits album, which hits stores on Dec. 9.

The singer recently discussed the new ballad, describing it as a "joyous, uplifting song, basically about changing your life for the better."

"[It's about] kind of having that a-ha moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward," Underwood added while speaking to Taste of Country.

In addition to the music video's imminent release, Underwood is gearing up for co-hosting duties at this year's CMA Awards on Wednesday. Nov. 4 alongside Brad Paisley. It will mark the seventh time the duo has co-hosted the show, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Underwood is also busy preparing for motherhood. The singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, recently announced that they are expecting their first child this spring.

"We went to Babies R Us and we were walking around and I was like, 'This is just so overwhelming,'" Underwood recently admitted on "The View."

"I have a wonderful mother so if I can be even a little bit like that, I think we'll be good," she added.
