Prayer is a two way conversation with the living God who loves and listens to what we have to say. We can pray and ask God for various things such as peace, healing, and to guide our actions. Our life matters to the Lord. Although, there may be many distractions in our life such as cell phones, and video games it is important that we make time to pray.
A good New Year's resolution for 2014 can be to pray more often. We may choose to pray alone or with a group. If you feel more comfortable being together with others, gather a group of friends each week and pray together. Try and fill every hour of your week with prayer. The MOST IMPORTANT thing we can do is PRAY!
