Following her win, Pope took to Twitter with gratitude, but only after posting her excitement.

"Holy moly cannoli!!!! I won," started the singer. "Thank you all SO much. I'm absolutely in awe and so thankful for this incredible experience."

After thanking her team at "The Voice," Pope added, "And of course, @blakeshelton. You've taught me that I can stand on my own and be accepted. You're the best."

Pope, who was mentored on the show by Shelton, took the stage alongside Avril Lavigne during last night's episode.

"Congratulations @cassadeepope great job tonight," wrote Lavigne via Twitter. "That's was fun. All the best to you. Xo"

Throughout the season, Pope wowed audiences with her soulful, strong performances. Many of her songs from the show have been top-sellers on iTunes, including Monday night's rendition of Faith Hill's "Cry," which shot to number one overnight.

Shelton celebrated his protégé's win after the show and posted a congratulatory message on Twitter.

"I love you @CassadeePope!!!! That was so much da-fun sis," wrote the country music singer.

"We did it!! We did it! I love y'all," he added.

The season finale saw guest star performance by Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, and the Killers.

Another highlight from the two-hour season finale was when all four judge-mentors- Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Cee Lo Green- took the stage to sing Green Day's "Time of Your Life."

It was the last time the group will be together on the show, as Aguilera and Green will be replaced by Shakira and Usher next season.

"The Voice" fans will not have to wait long for the show to start again. Season four is set to debut on March 25.
