"Castle" season six is winding down with just three episodes left, and fans are wondering what is in store for Detective Kate Beckett and Richard Castle.
Although Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) are engaged, fans are wondering if the pair will marry this season, or at all. However, "Castle" star Seamus Dever offered hints about the highly anticipated wedding during a recent interview. The actor, who portrays Detective Kevin Ryan, told Zap2It.com that his character is competing with Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) to be Castle's best man.
"Esposito and Ryan are vying to be Castle's best man, and it's all this sort of mistaken communication that's amusing, because Castle doesn't catch on that we're competing and doesn't know why we're sort of acting like sycophants around him," the actor explained.

Moreover, "Castle" star Molly Quinn has also offered details on Castle and Beckett's wedding, warning fans that the process would be "prolonged." The actress portrays Alexis, the daughter of the title character on the ABC show.
"I think they're definitely gonna prolong it," the actress told E! News. "I cannot say, but my gut feeling would be that it is going to be prolonged, even maybe broken at some point, and brought back together. There are a lot of things that could happen. I mean who knows, maybe Alexis decides to sabotage the whole thing."
Katic also sounded off on her character's engagement to castle and expectations about a wedding.
"I think these two characters have strong opinions, and that will create a lot of conflict and opportunity for romance and interest, hopefully," the actress told E! "It would be a new version of the show. I think that they did a nice job of kind of shifting into the romance last year, and now finally into the engagement, and I'm already filming episode seven or eight, and it seems like they're doing a great job of kind of creating that shift."
"Castle" airs on ABC Mondays at 10 p.m. EST. This week's installment is entitled "Law & Boarder." The synopsis is as follows: "A promising professional skateboarder is killed by a motorcyclist, so Castle and Beckett dive into the world of extreme sports to investigate the murder."
The final episodes following "Law & Boarder" include "Veritas" and the May 12 finale, reportedly entitled "For Better or For Worse," according to TVLine.
